Brightness Color Shade Inspection Device (Uniformity Tester) Outline This is an epoch-making device that inspects brightness unevenness and color shading of displays (TV, LCD) and backlights for LCD in place of conventional equipment for brightness measurement that measure only one point, by measuring the entire display simultaneously to reduce inspection time. Characteristics As calibration is performed with a PR-650 made by Photo Research Inc., the display shows absolute values. The capture of brightness level of the entire object is controlled and automatically detected with accuracy of 1% to indicate an appropriate distribution. The full-scale image is automatically captured to indicate an appropriate distribution. The full-scale image is automatically corrected to indicate an appropriate distribution. Output of brightness for all pixel data is possible. The point marked "o" can be displayed. Overall NG output is indicated on the center of the display. External digital NG output is possible. TXT output of data can be performed with RS-232C. Alarm NG output is possible. The circumstance brightness inclination value is displayed numerically. Auto/manual can be selected for image capture. There are also "exclusive for backlight" and "exclusive for projector" for other applications.
